How to read a country page in five minutes

Written by Administrator · September 3, 2026 · 1 min read

See the country

Five minutes is enough if you refuse to read the page like a novel. Use Ghana as the drill.

  1. Header. Flag, GEC GH, ISO GH, Africa, sovereign. Editorial mentions from the desk sit under the title when we have written about the country.
  2. People. Population 35,336,133 (2025 est.); languages led by Asante 16% and Ewe 14%, English official; Christian 71.3%, Muslim 19.9% (2021 est.).
  3. Place. 238,533 sq km; Accra at 5°33′N, 0°13′W, UTC+0.
  4. Money. Real GDP (PPP) $276.11 billion; per-capita staircase $6,700 → $6,800 → $7,100 (2022–2024, 2021 dollars).
  5. State. Presidential republic; independence 6 March 1957 from the UK.
Independence Arch, Accra
Start at the arch, then open the rankings. A country page is a table of contents for an argument, not the argument itself.

Then leave. Open population rankings and find rank 44. That is the whole method.
